Can I use wet food?
No. The current TendraPet launch range is intended for compatible dry kibble only.
Does the dual bowl identify individual pets?
No. It divides dispensed food between two feeding positions but does not identify pets or prevent one pet from eating from both bowls.
Will the feeder work during a power outage?
Backup-power support and available functions depend on the exact model. Confirm the battery requirements and outage behavior on the individual product page before ordering.
What happens if Wi-Fi goes down?
Remote commands, camera access, and cloud-dependent features require the relevant connection and service availability. Offline schedule behavior depends on the exact model and firmware.
How much food is one portion?
Portion output varies with kibble size, shape, and density. Measure several test portions using your pet’s food before establishing a routine.
How do I clean the feeder?
Unplug it first. Wash only removable food-contact components approved by the final manual. Never immerse the electrical base, camera, controls, motor housing, or power connector.
Can an automatic feeder replace a pet sitter?
No. It supports a feeding routine but does not replace fresh water, regular in-person checks, responsible care, or veterinary attention.
